@GuyLoneliness @justinenantale2 I think she simply meant women should bring more value to the table and not just beauty. Getting a high education and having some value on yourself doesnt make you a feminist. And also a man who doesnt expect his wife to grow in other areas of his life is simply a coward.
@BradleyCarlvin1 Most of these preachers belong to particular churches and 90% of churches in Uganda are NGOs. NGOs receive donor fundings for their activities. In short those preachers are working. They could even be earning salaries or daily allowances or even both.
@Sir_Damilare@nikksterDotTech It depends on the company. But for big companies departmental managers will work. If you are an IT guru, look for the head of IT. They will see your value faster and pass it to the hiring manager. But for small companies the CEO will do since they are more actively involved.
@Sir_Damilare@nikksterDotTech 😂you went to the wrong person. Hiring managers don't call shots. They work on instructions from departments and top managers when it comes to hiring needs. If a department sees your value, they instruct the hiring manager. Just know the right person to pitch your skills to.
@Sir_Damilare@nikksterDotTech It's less tedious than applying for advertised jobs, attending so many interviews and not getting hired. The only issue is you have to be very convincing and good at negotiations. I asked for a 3month probation period and told them to fire me incase I don't deliver my bargain😂
@nikksterDotTech Set up an appointment with the key decision maker of that company. Point out where they are lacking and how they will gain if they hire you. There's a higher chance of them hiring you this way. It's how i got hired. The company created a position for me.
@nikksterDotTech I will give you an advice someone gave me. He told me to stop applying on job adverts and normal positions. What you can do is learn a high selling skill in your profession that most people dont have. Then search for workplaces lacking that specific skill.
