“If you sit on the Virgin Atlantic Web site for 9 minutes, the chatbot will pop up—so you never have to talk to anyone on the phone.” An introvert, to @sazzy#AEADC Introverts seek out dark patterns that align with their comfort levels.
Trust is the slayer of cynicism. To regain trust, we must empower our users. Thank you, @aneventapart and #aeadc, for letting me get into it! Here's how: https://t.co/dSJTHlReac
@DrDogMusic Toddler/Kids merch t-shirt request. You’re my 3 year old’s favorite band. She says her favorite song is Coming Out of the Darkness, and “the one the daddy sings” (Nelly).
Being a developer means you only have two work moods:
- I’m a demigod, I reign supreme over machines
- Even amoebas are smarter than me and would have figured out this by now
And you pretty much switch from one to another several times a day
Day 56 #100daysofcode: I did my first SVN Commit by myself on a CSS fix, felt pretty proud. Then our entire staging site went down. I was certain it was me, and I screwed up the first thing I tried to do on my own. But it wasn’t me, my code was fine. The pressure 😅 #CodeNewbie
Day 52-55 #100DaysOfCode: tweeting my progress is not my strong point. Been in the weeds with CSS/LESS, and trying to understand subversion. But just found out my company is switching to Git 🙌🏻. Don’t know much but I know that’s good. #CodeNewbie
Day 51 #100DaysOfCode: more CSS using LESS. Had to figure out how to use the ‘&’ selector to make changes in some code. Also trying to understand how our SVN works. Problem solving may just be my favorite part of coding. #CodeNewbie
