We have a Prime Minister who offers solidarity and “support” to victims of Putin’s current carpet bombing in Ukraine, while in the same breath sending Syrian refugees - victims of Putin’s carpet bombing - to Rwanda. Johnson is a disgrace.

In honour of #NationalFishAndChipDay (yep, we can barely believe it’s that time of year again, either) we commissioned Yorkshire-based photographer Jonathan Taylor to capture probably the UK’s most architecturally significant chippie. 👀 Behold the Oakwood Fish Bar, Leeds…
'Peace,' shows the burial at sea of Turner’s friend, the artist David Wilkie who died after returning from the Middle East. Turner's painting verges on abstraction and was roundly criticised when it was first exhibited in 1842 as 'unfinished and unbecoming.'
Steve Double is the first of Cornwall’s MPs to welcome a windfall tax on energy companies – eight days after voting against the idea https://t.co/BezjLKrJZD
1) They adopted our idea.
2) They have made all the Tory MPs sent out to defend the Govt’s position and argue against windfall tax look like fools (again).
3) Because the Government is so chaotic this will keep happening.
Have any of the ministers who were wholeheartedly opposed to a windfall tax last week as a matter fact resigned as a matter of principle now the government is introducing a windfall tax?
What ‘big calls’ did he get right? Covid care homes disaster? Doctors wearing bin bags for protection? Opening then closing schools again within 24 hours? Brexit mayhem? Passport delays? Economic collapse? Late on windfall tax? Misleading Parliament? Paterson? Sewage?
What? 🤷🏻♂️

It is with sadness that we have learned this evening of the death of Simon Preston.
Organist, conductor and composer, Simon was originally a chorister at King’s, later returning as Organ Scholar. His contributions to music were extraordinary, and he will be greatly missed.
On the Protocol, Tory Chair of NI Select @Simon4NDorset: “It’s a naive nonsense for the govt to ask anyone to believe that (1) they didn’t understand what they signed up to…(2) that ministers thought the EU would behave entirely differently to that stipulated in the agreement.”
