The paper by @CapaidsUganda makes a very good case for locally led development and how overly impactful it is compared to donor led development which is not sustainable and can be political

I support locally led development and local philanthropy for a greater independent Africa

AI is a game changer in doing CSO work CSOs are working in a shrinking funding space thus fewer staff and more work which is straining
AI when used correctly builds efficiency speed and wide coverage thus helping CSOs reach their targets even with few staff

Cutting administrative costs in doing CSO work is inevitable Even as we are pushing for local resource mobilization we need an Anti burn strategy

CSO funds should focus more on impact than admin costs but without exploiting staff which calls for strategy
