@Education4Libs I'm not sure any of that stuff is a crime, unlike, say, coercing a foreign power into discrediting a political opponent.
Just a though... What happens if you're right? Nothing much. What happens if you're wrong? Your president is a crook, and you're cheerleading him 🤔
@NannyNorms Absolutely, but Linda Blade's assertion of XX = male brings intersex into what you rightly say is complicated, and will remain so. However, Blade dropping "she", "her" and actual women into tweets deliberately classes trans women as "other". This doesn't help the conversation.
Is #brexit more about Tory fear of Nigel Farage - losing power if the right of British politics is split like the left is - than actually anything to do with Europe? If that was my goal, I'd do what Boris is doing right now.
@AndyBird92300@LydiaJ65@Steven_Swinford … ‘technology lessons’ and gave taxpayer money to Jennifer Arcuri, had his own brother accuse him of being against the national interest, said there should be no border on the Island of Ireland and then didn’t. Doesn’t even fit into one tweet!
@AndyBird92300@LydiaJ65@Steven_Swinford Was this before or after Johnson reneged on his 31st Oct deadline, suffered seven straight commons defeats, lost his majority, sacked his hero's grandson, lied to the queen, unlawfully prorogued parliament, was embarrassed by the prime minister of Luxembourg, had...
What does a 52/48 split look like in a democracy? Like the deal we already have. That's the compromise. It's up to Leave to persuade Remain to take the deal, or they lose #Brexit. It's the only way out of the EU. Democracy isn't about 'winning' and 'losing' it's about compromise.
@uk_sf_writer@MaureenDalby @jenniferbroadl2 @joswinson How do you know that statement to be untrue? Demographics have undoubtedly shifted since 2016. If only there were some way of finding out what the majority of people thought...
Your ad hominem attack doesn't exactly portray your argument in a positive light, either.
@ArthurM42414731@fairplaywomen@BBCSportWales 1 in 500 men have XXY. XX male is 1 in 20,000. XY female 1 in 80,000 approx. Gender dysphoria is reported in between 5 and 14 in a thousand men (2-3 per thousand in women). There is no proven link between these, but saying 'if you have a Y chromosome you are a man' is incorrect.
@ArthurM42414731@fairplaywomen@BBCSportWales Biologically speaking that isn't correct. Sex is determined by a gene called SRY. This is usually on the Y chromosome, but not always. And is not always expressed. It is possible to be female and XY, and male and XX, and it is possible to have extra chromosomes.
After being threatened with a CPN today by @WolvesCouncil, I'd be happy to meet up to go through @ukhomeoffice guidance, which states that CPNs should not be used against buskers. Exercising my right to make reasonable use of the public highway is not anti-social behaviour
