Tried out @canva AI code-generation last night, creating a digital escape room activity for our Stone Age unit. Set it in a cave filled with Paleolithic cave art. Several rounds of iteration last night to get 10 puzzles of varying difficulty and the kids loved it. Huge win!
@GaETConf This had been an amazing session. It has given me a great idea for implementing cross-curricular activities that are engaging for students. Tinkercad & 3D printing can be used for all subjects and it can be used for SEL to amplify student voices.
@GaETConf My favorite vendor is @powerupedu . I love their products. Their interactive floor is amazing and on my bucket list to have in my library. (If any one wants to help fund this for us, we would be very appreciative. 😉) I also love their Marty Robot.
@GaETConf Shoutout to @pnkgrn_gurl who has taught me a lot about incorporating technology into what I do with my students. She is always available for great advice too.
@GaETConf@tech4allminds Got to meet Dr. Hogans and learned some valuable information about amplifying student voices. Bridging technology & literacy is so important. She’s definitely a like minded person. Love that I made this connection at #GaETC25#passporttoinnovation Thanks @GaETConf
Engagement is key. Find out what students like or in the words of Ciara a& Chris Brown, “How They Roll” and rock with it. @GaETConf#GaETC24#EduRockstar
@GaETConf Engagement is key. Find out what your students like, or in the words of Ciara and Chris Brown “How they Roll” and then you as the teacher take that and work with it.
Just got introduced to a great app @SnorklApp that can help with GMAS prep. Students can get help with learning how to give better responses when reading passages & answering questions based on the passage. This is what I love about @GaETConf. Always learning. #GaETC24
