🎉✨ IT’S MY BIRTHDAY ✨🎉
Today, I celebrate growth, strength, lessons, blessings, and another beautiful year of life. ❤️
Happy Birthday to me. 🥂🎂
A queen with dreams, grace, and unstoppable energy. 👑✨
This is crazyyy!!
This lady, let’s call her Ego, went for an abdominal scan because she is a trying-to-conceive woman who was searching for answers.
When she arrived at the clinic, she met three staff members: The receptionist, the chaperone, and the “sonographer.”
She made payment at the reception and then proceeded into the scan room.
The sonographer was a middle-aged man who looked very professional. Ego immediately felt relieved. In her mind she thought, “Finally, I met someone experienced. I’m sure he will carry out my scan properly.”
She explained everything she had been through in her trying-to-conceive journey and said, “Doctor, please help me find out what is happening.”
The “sonographer” began the scan and almost immediately suggested a transvaginal scan.
Now, she had heard me talk about transvaginal scans before, so she agreed without asking questions.
This is where the story became very confusing.
The sonographer told her the scan needed to be done while she was asleep.
This was her first time having a transvaginal scan, so she did not know the normal procedure or how it was supposed to work.
She agreed.
A sedative was given to her.
I have been a sonographer for 6years and I have never used a sedative for anyone during a scan.
She slept.
When she woke up, she asked the sonographer if her results were okay.
He told her, “Everything went well.”
Later, she came to my live session to narrate how “professional” the sonographer was and how properly everything was handled.
Immediately she mentioned sedation, I shouted:
“Obara Jesus!”
Because a routine transvaginal scan is NOT done under sedation..
I asked her: “Was it HSG?
She said no.
I asked: “Were you given a report?”
She said no. He only told her everything was fine.
I asked: “Was the chaperone present when you
woke up?”
She said no.
I asked: “Were you dressed when you woke up?”
She said yes.
My response?
Arrest everybody there. Close down that centre.
Drag them to court.
I really felt her pain when she satrted crying because that was when she realised that something really ev1l happened to her at that clinic.
Based on a real life experience of a Trying to conceive woman.
