Our time trials started back up last night. A smallish field considering the conditions, but much more fun than watching England play football 🙈

It was a good night for Time Trialling on Tuesday with a helpful southerly wind that gave us some great times.
A decent post Easter turnout included BECC riders Alex, Ed, Nick and Scott who all took advantage of our free entry policy for members.

Alex's time of 4.24 is a new club record, 2 seconds ahead of previous record holder Steve Kane.

Sadly, following a course inspection on the B2135, we have had to cancel the 5-Mile Time Trial series due to serious potholes and flooding at the foot of Wappingthorn Hill. The 10-milers start on May 7th.

We have learnt that the Downslink will be closed behind the cement works for 3 weeks, starting today, due to erosion of the path.
