Admit it or not it was better then.
I’m in love with this quote:
"If God can take away something you never imagined losing, then surely God can grant you something you never imagined gaining." 🕊️
Ma’am Zyann Ambrosio is soooo clever! She did not disclose her location while reporting. She managed to record despite fear and panic. She was strategic by not posting or exposing her video recording early.
I didn’t fully understand what Romans 8:28 meant when it says, “all things work together for good,” until I went through a season where nothing felt good at all. The truth is, some seasons don’t look like blessings. They look like confusion, delays, loss, and things falling apart. In those moments, it’s easy to wonder how any of this could possibly be working for me. But I’ve realized God doesn’t waste anything not the pain, the waiting, or even the mistakes. He turns what feels like a setback into part of the setup. So if life feels heavy right now and everything seems off, it’s not meaningless or random. Something is still being worked out, even if you can’t see it yet. Stay grounded. Keep your faith. One day it will come together and make sense, and you’ll realize it was working for you all along.
God is very intentional. Nothing about your life is random. Not the delays, not the detours, not even the waiting. He knows exactly what He's doing. Please learn to trust him more this year.
Parang wala na kasing mapiga even an iota of understanding on how oil prices actually work.
You make it sound like the Philippines is stuck with the Middle East. Sila lang ba ang may langis? What about the other oil-producing countries outside the region?
Yes, a large portion of our imports from the Middle East is crude oil; but the Philippines also sources from other suppliers like Russia, Malaysia, and other countries (possibly Latin America and Africa).
For refined fuel, we import from Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore, China and other regional suppliers.
Which means: may alternative sources na ang Pilipinas.
So, tanong: since may alternatives tayo, bumaba ba ang presyo ng langis?
HINDI.
Because oil prices are not determined by where the Philippines buys.
Prices are set by global benchmarks.
We can switch suppliers all we want, but if global prices are high, mataas pa rin ang presyo sa Pilipinas dahil private sector ang nagse-set ng presyo depende sa kung magkano ang bili nila. Alangan naman malugi sila. (Oil Deregulation Law yan).
So, the claim that prices will keep rising unless we find alternatives to the Middle East speaks more of your brain’s capacity to understand the oil market.
Even countries that don’t rely on the Middle East are affected because the market is global.
And like I posted before, the Philippines is a price taker, not a price setter. We don’t influence prices, we follow them. Hindi naman tayo member ng OPEC+ to be able to influence the price.
So, again, remind us, bakit gusto mo ulit maging presidente kung basic global pricing mechanics hindi mo gets?
This lady on TikTok said she stopped praying from a survival place and started praying from a place of power. She said God doesn’t need you begging but he needs us believing! WHEW LORD!
