I've read 40 books this year already, mostly in conjuction with having a step goal for the year.
I'm pretty sure that's more than I've read in the past 15 years combined
@ScrubbedOut I did podcasts for a long while (still love em) but I've really wanted to catch up on a lot of major books I've missed over the years. It's insane how easy it is to motivate myself to either read or exercise since they've both come hand in hand now.
@zbcox@ignoredtrapdoor Yeah, I've seen a lot of studies about the link between lead and violent behavior too. Microplastics certainly can't be good for us either :/
@PrimaltheGod Fiction wise, Piranesi was really good and fairly quick. A man lives in a House with infinite rooms, alongside one other person trying to find this "Great hidden knowledge". Very good.
Non-fiction - A Short History of Nearly Everything, which is basically what it sounds like
@ALittell Thank you! I'm pretty proud of it, and will probably do a big post at the beginning of next year with my favorites (and least favorites, if I end up not liking some)
