YO! I was re-watching some episodes of My Life as a Teenage Robot lately, and I totally forgot that there was an episode that completely makes fun at the concept of age with fictional characters.

Jenny is a high schooler. She was designed to be a teenager in mind and personality. But because she was TECHNICALLY created 5 years ago, the city determined she was 5 years old XD! So what ended up happening is that she got forced out of high school and put into Kindergarten with other toddlers. The entire episode was a really funny case study showcasing how ridiculous this entire situation is.

Jenny was clearly out of place there, and what I loved about this episode the most is that the writers used that to make their message clear of proving how meaningless age is in the grand scheme of things.

Sometimes I just want validation from my family and the little friends I have that I’m doing well in my art. When I get little to no reaction on my small successes, it makes me feel like I’m not doing enough or that I’m not big enough. I have to be my own biggest support.
