As fall is upon us, the city will be resuming street sweeping starting November 3, 2020. Please remember to move your vehicles prior to the designated street sweeping time. Warnings will be issued during the month of November followed by enforcement second week of December.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. The Brisbane Police Department will be wearing pink patches to help spread awareness and to honor and support those battling this disease.
Fire Activity Final Update - The grass fire at Monarch Dr. near Mission Blue is completely out. Emergency personnel have cleared. Preliminary investigation indicates this was an electrical fire.

Power Outage - there is a partial power outage due to a blown transformer. Valley/Bayshore and N Hill/Guadalupe stop lights are out. All traffic should treat these as 4/3 way stops.
Community Info - PG&E will be in the area of South Hill doing maintenance work that will include venting of natural gas. Wind conditions may cause the odor of gas to drift into town. This will take place 7/21-7/22. Police and Fire have been notified and will monitor accordingly.
Community Alert - A resident notified police today of a mountain lion sighting last Friday (7/17) at around 10:00 PM in the area of Lehning Way. If anyone sees a mountain lion within the city, please notify PD immediately at 9-1-1 or 415-467-1212.
The Brisbane Police Department extends our heartfelt condolences to the friends, family, and colleagues of Sgt. Gutzwiller of the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office. Sgt. Gutzwiller was killed in the line of duty yesterday. Rest in peace and we thank you for your service.
