It's a volcano, complete with red lava flowing from the crater! Students in Mix and Mixture are learning all about chemical reactions and we just might have a few future scientists here! #LivingLikeARenegade

Our kitchen scientists made pickles! We learned so many fun things, like what a brine is and how diffusion and osmosis help the spices move into the cucumbers. We topped off the morning watching The Magic School Bus: "In A Pickle” to continue our learning! #LivingLikeARenegade

Our Master Pastry Chefs are working hard in the kitchen, learning the science behind the recipes. Assembling their creations takes the perfect combination of creativity & kitchen science knowledge. Who knew summer school could be so much fun? #LivingLikeARenegade

Who doesn't love a furry friend? Whether they are a pet owner or not, in Bristol's Dog Days of Summer class, our young animal lovers are enjoying the chance to explore the world of dogs through stories, journals, science, and hands-on activities. #LivingLikeARenegade

Students took on the Marshmallow Zipline Challenge, where they had to design, build, and send a marshmallow across the zipline in the fastest time! Which team's design will take the prize? #LivingLikeARenegade

Bristol's Summer School Session II is now underway and today it was all about setting goals. Math students get personalized instruction as they practice new skills and stretch to reach their personal best. Go, Renegades! #LivingLikeARenegade

Who says you need to go outside to enjoy camping activities? Our Renegades had a wonderful time camping in the library & exploring camping activities, including fishing, campfires, eating S'mores, & flashlight games. So many memorable adventures! #LivingLikeARenegade

Time for a taste test! Students worked together to rank their favorite cheeses from provolone, mozzarella, Swiss, cheddar, & Parmesan. For the mystery ingredient, the students added ranch, garlic, & herb to see which flavors paired well. Delicious! #LivingLikeARenegade

Bristol's Summer School Session 1 ends today, and boy, did the students have fun! No classes will be held the week of 6/29 through 7/3, but we can't wait to see our students back in school for the start of Session 2 on Monday, July 6th! #LivingLikeARenegade

It's a cupcake decorating contest! Cupcakes were judged on flavor, creativity, presentation, use of ingredients, teamwork, and clean up. Today, we announced the winners of The Golden Spoon Award! Congratulations to team "The People"! #LivingLikeARenegade
