@MarinaPurkiss you could apply to the EUSS Settlement Scheme as an Italian citizen. Your EUSS application would be late (which is another problem) but "eventually" would receive a certificate of application from the UKVI to start your settled status application. Of course both are RIDICULOUS /2

I respect if visas were delayed due to Ukraine issue. It is so frustrating to see everyone applied in May are getting their visas and people who applied by march/ early April are still waiting. #ukvi is unethical and unprofessional in handling backlogs. #UKVISADELAY @ukhomeoffice

I'm part of a group on Facebook called UK Spouse Visas, there are hundreds of people on there in the same boat. UKVI do as they please, they don't even have to answer us, they are a law unto themselves.
