My friends son is 21, he’s just got his first proper job with a salary of £2300 a month.
He still lives at home and doesn’t yet pay anything. My mate says he’s going to ask for £600 a month towards the house bills
Is that the right thing to do?
Is this actually a thing for white people ? I live in my own flat in Chelsea now near Caicedo but when I was 21 my parents wouldn’t ask me for £5 let alone bills to STAY AT MY OWN HOUSE. They’re your parents ? Unless the definition of being a parent is different in cultures
Wes Streeting warns Britain must be ready for war 'in 1,000 days' as Russia steps up threats to NATO - but Chancellor will only make 'downpayment' on extra defence spending at Budget https://t.co/AnkCS8NJ7u
I've not been to the shops since last week, so no idea of the panic buying scale- what's it like where you are? Empty shelves? No loo roll? Or has it been pretty normal?

1. I’m 100% not Indian
2. I’m engagement baiting……. But yet you’re commenting?
Tell me, what happens when you comment on ‘engagement baiting’ posts?
🇬🇧 What has Britain come to?
People are reportedly rushing out to buy emergency radios and stockpile supplies following government warnings.
Is this sensible preparation, or are we being frightened into expecting the worst?
🚨 BE HONEST — ARE YOU WORRIED ABOUT WHAT’S COMING?
A) Yes, I’m already preparing.
B) I’m concerned, but haven’t done anything.
C) No, it’s all being blown out of proportion.
👇 Comment A, B or C — and tell us WHY.
🔁 Repost this. I want to see how worried Britain really is tonight. 🇬🇧
“Be ready by having some everyday essentials… three litres of water per person per day, tinned goods... to last a few days”
Speaking to @vicderbyshire, Defence Secretary Wes Streeting details advice to households to be prepared for a “dangerous and turbulent world”.
#Newsnight
The UK is officially preparing for a large scale war against Russia.
Ten days ago, the UK urged citizens to be prepared to make sacrifices for the country.
General Sir Roly described the current situation in the UK as extremely dangerous.
He announced that the UK's political leaders would soon have a frank conversation with citizens about what is truly going on.
His exact words: Things that are going to kill you are going to get that close to you. Whether that is close quarters combat in tunnels, whether it's in derelict buildings, whether it's in forests and woods, or on the streets of villages.
Then a day ago, the Prime Minister urged citizens to stock up on food that does not require refrigeration or cooking.
He also urged citizens to keep medicines and first aid kits for treating wounds.
He advised citizens to keep torches and spare batteries.
Citizens were also urged to withdraw some money from their bank accounts and keep some cash on hand.
They were also advised to keep emergency essentials for babies.
The Prime Minister also urged citizens to store water.
And now, the Defence Secretary has issued another deadly warning to UK citizens.
He believes the UK has only 1000 days to prepare for war.
Adversaries are planning a large scale attack on the UK by 2030.
The UK is seeing its biggest increase in defence spending since the end of the Cold War.
The Defence Secretary is now warning about Russian tanks rolling across the UK borders.
He is also warning that state sponsored terrorism could cripple the UK.
He has accused Russia of using civilian fishing trawlers as commercial proxies to map and loiter near critical undersea cables.
The Defence Secretary has identified 500 incidents in which Russia is attempting to destroy the UK's financial system and banking infrastructure.
He has also accused Russia of spying on UK government and business communications.
The UK and NATO are now getting ready for a multi year war against Russia.
The whole of Europe is heading towards a catastrophe.
🇬🇧 Serious question before we call it a night…
Is Britain actually getting worse, or are we just getting older and noticing things more?
The cost of living, housing, crime, the NHS, the state of our high streets…
It feels like everything has changed.
What’s ONE thing you miss about Britain 20 years ago?
I want to hear your answers. 👇🇬🇧
