@Ssnyder1835 Is the Starro in DC K.O. a slightly-grown Jarro? I was convinced this was the case based on his dialogue, but a friend pointed out you wrote Starro similarly in Metal.
@DaveCor_2814@dcuworld New Gods isn't ending, it's on hiatus so the writer and artist can do a creator owned book, then it's returning.
We also don't know if Green Arrow is actually ending or just getting a new team. His phrasing could point to either.
@TalkingSuperman Bubble wrap was initially invented as wallpaper, but now we use it to package fragile things. You don't always need to throw ideas out entirely to fit with the times, sometimes they can still work in a different context. "Purpose" is fluid.
@Circusbirdboy That's gone back and forth. Currently, she debuts after Superman and Batman. Hippolyta was Wonder Woman during WW2. If that was Diana in the 40's you'd be right, she'd have all the time in the world to have met Donna. But right now, she barely predates Robin.
@Circusbirdboy @dcuworld Please just do basic math. Let's steelman that: Dick's 8, Donna's 1. Okay. The Teen Titans forms, Donna needs to be at least 13 to make the team. Dick would be 20, not a teenager. By even the wildest stretches, they wouldn't even be teenagers at the same time.
@Circusbirdboy Because that would make Batman and Superman like 60 years old. That's an absolutely insane gap. Think of all the stories you need to cram into a roughly 20 year timespan. You can't have half of that take place with nothing to fill it.
@Circusbirdboy For a more detailed breakdown, my (very generous) timeline estimate goes as follows:
Year 1: Batman and Superman debut
Year 2: Wonder Woman debuts. She rescues baby Donna
Year 3: Robin debuts
Year 4: Justice League is formed
Year 5: Misc. JL adventures
Year 6: Titans are formed
@Circusbirdboy @dcuworld Yes. But that's only a couple years later. Think of it this way:
Batman Year 3: Dick Grayson becomes Robin, he's around 12.
New History of the DCU says Diana rescued Donna like a year at most before that
Dick should be at least a decade older than Donna Troy if she was a baby.
@bobafettywap02 Robin debuts only 2-3 years after Batman does. He's at least 10 years old when that happens. So he'd be like a decade older than Donna.
@Circusbirdboy @dcuworld Not much time passes between when the new age of heroes (Superman, Batman, etc.) starts and the Teen Titans is founded. Robin debuts only 3 years after Batman. Then the Justice League is founded shortly after. And the Titans after that. It's like a span of 6 years at most.
