I hadn't posted yet as I was hoping it would be found, but after speaking to USPS for the last month it sadly seems gone for good. Won this on eBay but was seemingly stolen/lost during shipping to my parent's place. On off chance anybody finds it, would be grateful @CardPurchaser
[I still don't get why most Mets fans on here want to give up on Mauricio when he's still under contract. There's a genuinely talented player there if he's given actual time. It's worth at least another season.]
Genuinely upsettng that JJ Wetherholt (first half leader, best defensive 2B and 4.8 WAR), Carson Benge (20/20, best all-around rookie) and Nolan McLean (borderline ace) are going to lose ROY to a poor defensive 1B with less WAR and a sub-.800 OPS as a bat-only player
Trading away Francisco Alvarez would be a short-sighted move. He's in a slump, but he's barely older than the average AA player, is a + bat at a weak position, and his defence is...about the same as Torrens' was when he was 24. #LGM
The idea that this is a contest between Wetherholt (clear winner) and Stewart (114 WRC+, 2.1 bWAR) with Benge (110 WRC+, 2.8 bWAR) being completely ignored is a travesty.
Mike Lowell questions WAR's positional adjustments in regards to the stark difference between Sal Stewart and JJ Wetherholt.
"[For example:] if you play a poor third base, it has more value in WAR than an average first baseman."
