Not many redeeming qualities in this Argentine team. Football won today!
Congratulations to Spain on an incredible tournament! Well-deserved champions!
Spain didn’t just win yesterday, they showed what happens when a team has a clear identity.
I’ve made my Program Identity Starter Kit available FREE to help coaches build that foundation.

🚨💣 BREAKING: Youri Tielemans to Manchester United, HERE WE GO! 🔴🇧🇪
United activate €41m release clause into Tielemans’ contract at Aston Villa, verbal agreement also with Belgian midfielder.
Andrey Santos done + Tielemans next after Éderson deal called off on Friday. 📈
Me reading the masterpiece that @Jermainejunior dropped criticizing our federation.
Well done sir. Our kids, players, fans, and everyone in between deserves better! My guy is a man of the people!
@ChiT0wnSports23 If the leagues in Europe get more people interested in the sport in our country, I’m all for it, I think the original post, and definitely my own reply, were more aimed at the anti-MLS contingent of the American soccer culture, not new fans of the game
Truth. List of leagues I watch:
EPL
EFL Championship
Bundesliga
Serie A
La Liga
MLS
I’ll catch Dutch Eredivisie games when Americans are playing
MLS is a fun product if you allow yourself to get into it and go to a match (which can be affordable!)
Don’t be a snob
Most of the crowd who only support a Premier League club are saying “The quality is bad, I only want to watch the best”
First off admitting to glory hunting is crazy.
Secondly if you truly love this sport you should be able to watch lower lever games. People in England pack out Non-League games where I assure you the quality is much lower than MLS.
@ChiT0wnSports23 I would also argue that people just getting into soccer aren’t complaining about the level of play.
And if they are, they’re only parroting what they have heard from others as they wouldn’t have the knowledge base or experience to form an opinion like that on their own
@ChiT0wnSports23 I did grow up playing, and watched when we started to be able to afford cable TV!
And MLS isn’t a lower league, it’s the top league in our country and is very accessible. It’s 2026, most people stream, and every MLS match is available if you have Apple TV
@asc74O I disagree with your first point, which is completely opinion based by the way, but you’re entitled to it. I’ve enjoyed the atmospheres at the MLS games I’ve attended.
Your cost point is hyperbole, but I will say that top teams have gotten out of hand with pricing!
@erikthesmith As an American, I think the best way is to look at the players you have enjoyed this World Cup. Who do they play for? That should give you a good idea of where to start
If you can’t look at this and see potential…I don’t know man. Truly believe that our closed system, while not the only problem, is part of the problem.
How incredible would it be to add a few more clubs and have a 3 tiered pro-rel setup in our country?
@Dhaneye Where is it televised? I watch some USL teams in the US Open Cup but have never seen where to watch the league. Not saying I would, but that could be part of the issue
@starsnstripesfc Bayer Leverkusen is a fun club. Not only does Malik Tillman play for them, but they are not afraid to give young talent a chance! (Havertz, Wirtz, now Maza)
