But it is not all doom and gloom. I will be leaving traditional academia to work for a National Australian Education Institute and will be working to improve our education policies.

Quiting Thread: After a hard year as a remote PostDoc, I decided to pull the plug and quit. The idea of being so far away from my family during a pandemic was too much. I dunno if it was the right call, but I'm sleeping way better now. #AcademicChatter (1/?)

Its a sad day for us all, saying that as a science grad. we aren't better off job wise then the arts students. In fact all of my arts/humanities friends are more security employed and better off financially than any science grad I know...
