We are grateful to the sideshore project at the sea front, who taught our Year 3 children about marine biology and looking after our oceans. We invented our own clothing labels and they helped us print them onto t-shirts!
Next week is #MentalHealthWeek. Our MH Ambassadors will be sharing what they learned at Thursday’s Wellbeing Fayre at ECC.
Our friends from Lympstone Primary told us about 'glimmer moments' and we have made a short video about them.

It's Mental Health Awareness Week coming up.
'Health for Kids' provides information for primary school aged children and includes games, videos and quizzes. The feelings section has some positive messages and fun activities.
Dear @mcflymusic ,
Our school have re-written the lyrics to 'Love is Easy' to match the Coronation. Please can we record it and send it to you...and the King?!
Children have enjoyed a range of Coronation activities this week. We have learned about democracy and the role of the King and have planned what to include in new time capsules to be buried.
6B collaborated together on a group portrait.
Our Nursery children are very constructive, and they have enjoyed bringing their poorly pets to the vets!
We are now taking bookings for September starters in our Nursery. Please enquire via through office or book in for a tour.
Books for Keeps is our favourite online magazine. It's full of reviews and ideas for new books...and this month's includes a feature by our very own Reading Ambassadors!

Happy Easter, everyone!
Thank you to all of the children who entered the PTA's colouring competition. We had lots of entries from Nursery all the way up to Year 6...the children were delighted with their delicious prizes in assembly, last week!
For International Women's Day, some of our pupils have been inspired by female artists around the world, and shared their work with other schools from around the First Federation Trust.
These Year 5 children were inspired by Frieda Kahlo and Thandiwe Muriu.
Thank you to Matt Oldfield for visiting our school today.
We learned that non-fiction writing is just as exciting as story-writing, and that it is very much possible to combine passions for football and reading!
