Good thing the British people are compassionate when the government and especially Home Office is clearly not. We cannot allow our streets being taken over by such inhumane policies. It seems the Home Sec doesnโt think human rights should include all humans.
The British people are compassionate. We will always support those who are genuinely homeless. But we cannot allow our streets to be taken over by rows of tents occupied by people, many of them from abroad, living on the streets as a lifestyle choice. 1/4
@Gatwick_Airport and @Fly_Norwegian, it would be useful if you make announcements at the gate where people are waiting if thereโs a delay. Gate 1 is currently full of people who have found out their flight is delayed by 2hrs, by checking the website, no staff or info at the gate.
@Kent_Online This is not journalism, this is encouraging xenophobia and racism that is already rile in this country. I expect better from a news outlet, donโt pretend to be a tatty tabloid.
@MartinSLewis Driving on a semi regular basis on both sides of the road I definitely prefer automatic, no need to get distracted by trying to find the gear shift on the wrong side, safer with automatic that way.
@mcgroughts @FinancialTimes@SadiqKhan@UKLabour@Keir_Starmer The scheme was initiated by a Tory mayor and and Tory transport secretary was pushing Khan to expand, now theyโre blaming Labour instead of standing for their own decisions. Also, there are other parties than those two.
@StolenStitches He wants people who say theyโre ex-users to be counted as X-users. It might be a personal challenge how quickly he can ruin a perfectly good company and brand?! ๐คทโโ๏ธ
@MrsKaderbeck @kariebookish My dad told someone a made up fact and years later he heard someone (a completed stranger) phone in on a radio show to ask if it was really trueโฆsomeone had told someone, whoโd told someoneโฆ. ๐
@Officially_CY@KM_newsroom How do you know there aren't any lorry drivers, teachers, child minders, green grocers, jewellery makers, toy makers, carpenters, and IT-support engineers seeking refuge in UK? Have you asked them?
