Tesla ($TSLA) CEO Elon Musk (@elonmusk) said the company has redesigned Cybercab manufacturing to make production more than five times faster than conventional automotive manufacturing.

Tesla highlighted its new “unboxed” process, which builds vehicle modules in parallel before bringing them together at the end of the assembly process.

According to Tesla, the approach can cut assembly-line size roughly in half while increasing automation and production capacity. Musk described it as a major manufacturing breakthrough for Cybercab.

Musk also said he hopes Cybercab will expand to Europe soon after responding to a rider who tested the autonomous vehicle in Austin and asked when the service could reach Germany.

Cybercab has already begun operating in Austin as part of Tesla’s Robotaxi expansion. Musk has described the vehicle’s gold color as representing a new “golden era” of mobility.

Tesla also plans to provide riders with Starlink connectivity from SpaceX ($SPCX), integrating satellite internet into the Robotaxi experience.

The rollout still faces regulatory scrutiny. The NHTSA has opened a probe into the Cybercab program, though Deepwater Asset Management’s Gene Munster has characterized the investigation as a relatively minor obstacle to Tesla’s broader autonomy ambitions.

Investor Ross Gerber (@GerberKawasaki) has taken a more cautious view, warning Tesla owners against placing personal vehicles on the Robotaxi network and arguing that Tesla should bear the operational risks itself.

Still speculative and early-stage, but if fieldwork keeps tightening the targets and future drilling confirms a meaningful copper-gold system, $NRED.CN could get a serious re-rating from a very small base
