But this stain also extends to the UN itself, as the UNGA has still not yet taken action to remove the UN credentials of the Israeli regime, the UNSC has legitimized the regime and buttressed its impunity with its unlawful endorsement of the complicit “Board of Peace,” and the UNSG has yet to call out the genocide three years into the carnage.

The genocidaires are not just walking among us, they are ruling over us. They are trying to normalize genocide and apartheid. 🎥 “We cannot be silent”: Netherlands calls Gaza conditions a “disgrace,” pledges to evacuate 250 children

Speaking at a Call to Action for Palestinian Children in the occupied West Bank and Gaza, hosted by the EU, Belgium, and Jordan on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly on Wednesday, Netherlands representative Sjoerd Sjoerdsma condemned Israel’s restrictions on aid and called on European governments to take further action.

“It’s completely unacceptable. We should call it as it is, it’s a disgrace,” Sjoerdsma said. “While I appreciate the moment of silence, we cannot be silent. We need to speak up and we need to adhere to the call to action.”

He said Israel has an obligation under international law to allow aid into Gaza and humanitarian organizations to carry out their work.

The Netherlands, Sjoerdsma said, has decided to ban products from Israeli settlements, continue calling for the suspension of the EU-Israel trade and association agreement, and join Jordan’s initiative to medically evacuate 1,000 sick and injured children from Gaza, taking responsibility for at least 250.

In August, Israel expelled Dutch personnel from the U.S.-backed International Support Centre for Gaza, citing what Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar called the Netherlands’ “anti-Israel measures,” including its ban on trade with Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Golan Heights.
