@Fezzers13@VFTNinian Omer now realises there's 8 cup finals to go, and the team played well for him yesterday, so I say stick with him. Look what has happened to Blackburn since Ishmael
@oliverCCFCrees@VFTNinian I think Will Fish has earned a starting place tbf either with Bagan or Goutas. I like Daland but he's not the same type of fighter we need atm to get some wins.
@VFTNinian The starting 11 saw a return to a Warnock style away team that will keep you in the game for 60-70 mins and then bring on attacking subs to try and win you the game! And it worked, despite a few bumps along the way :)
@BBCRadioWales Great formation tweak by Riza at half time on last two away games. We deserved to beat Coventry & Stoke on both 2nd halves, but robbed by ref at Coventry & shame about Alnwick error at end today after making a couple of gr8 saves. Such if the life of a keeper.
@BBCRadioWales Cardiff bossed the second half after going three at the back half time, and were pretty comfortable at 2-1. Coventry very lucky to get a very harsh penalty equaliser.
@VFTNinian An interesting ref stat (don't tell my son)! Yesterdays ref, Oliver Langford, also reffed our Ipswich win, by the same score. I have to say I hardly noticed him yesterday apart from giving yellows to 3 Saints players and one of ours. Must have been a great performance π
@VFTNinian As Wasteful as Saints were in front of goal, all our players put their bodies on the line with tackles and blocks, at the end of a long, tiring and body-aching season - too many names to mention πββοΈπββοΈ
@VFTNinian Understandable reaction from some fans after a magnificent performance, although to hear a couple say we can sell NG for big money in summer as Conte is a ready made replacement?! I preferred Erol's view - it was a great game to introduce youngsters as no relg or p/off pressure.
@ccfcinsiderr Did well on his league left-back debut considering he was up against David Brooks. He certainly looked more up for it than when he came on as a sub against Millwall last week when he looked like he couldn't be arsed.
@VFTNinian Going into yesterday, we were the only Championship team who'd won their previous 4 games, but as is said, form goes out of the window in derbies. I'm sure players would say they wanted to win, but only the Swans players showed they did for the first 30 mins yesterday.
@VFTNinian Have to pay tribute to Ipswich attacking style and a decent ref performance contributing to a very entertaining game. No bad fouls, only yellow was for time-wasting. A good ref definitely needed for this Saturday please!
@VFTNinian I said at the time that the turgid 0-0 draw with Blackburn was a vital step to build confidence after 5 losses in 6. Since then 4 wins in 4.
@VFTNinian I also thought the ref got the cards right, even the slightly harsh one for Esbrand, on reflection. If this had made the podcast my son would have complained that we'll get a stinker ref against Huddersfield to even things up! Hope I haven't jinxed us.
@VFTNinian To not incur the wrath of my son (again), I'm deliberately posting too late for the podcast to say I thought ref Sam Allison had a decent game yesterday, even though he gave Brizzle a couple of soft free-kicks. He let the game flow and wasn't swayed by any of Wells theatrics.
@VFTNinian 2 great goals yesterday and even Schumacher in his post-match interview gave credit to our defending. Goutas saw that we couldn't beat the 1st or 2nd defender form our setplay kicks against Blackburn, so went near post for Ralls first corner - well done πββοΈ
@VFTNinian To the Erol naysayers, all the clubs below us in the championship have changed manager at least once this season - and they're all still below us. Schumacher started his Stoke rein with 3 wins & 2 draws but has now lost 6 of his last 7 league games.
@VFTNinian Two home games this week against teams below us in the league, so even without Rambo, I feel we can get at least four points from them, right? πββοΈ
