@s_webber the nfl’s relocation rules. Stl had come up with a plan for a new stadium. The 1 owner that didn’t vote for them to stay was Clark Hunt, chiefs owner. After they left, he immediately started marketing here. He also publicly lied and said he didn’t want the rams to leave stl

There’s a difference between voting for the team to move and actively trying to push the vote. Not rooting for a team that rooted for me to lose mine

The initial vote for relocation was actually fairly even, but then Kroenke laid out his plan to finance his own stadium. @DK_Chastaine @RiverfrontTimes Baltimore & St. Louis r always 1/2 on these lists b/c unlike most other US cities the city/county r separate. Crime in Stl city is a problem, but it’s actually average crime compared to other us cities. Include the county and they fall out of the top 10 entirely. Hope this helps

This is why the Cardinals are valued higher than the royals. This is why before the rams started tanking to move they ranked higher than chiefs
