Luke Broadhurst spent 1.5 yrs at UConn 17-18, RS re shoulder surgery. Jim Penders suggested he would do better elsewhere.

Eastern Connecticut St 19-22, put up 1200+ OPS 2x, won nat'l title. Penders asked him back! 2-yr standout, 5 RBI in regional.
