@equinepaparazzi@DunderMiF13@GhostofSwiftH I was asking you to clarify your view on the weak competition he faced, not pretending it doesn’t matter as you assumed.
How can weak competition be a factor in judging his place in history, yet the fact he can’t control who he competes against be ‘scarcely relevant’?
I get your point and don’t necessarily disagree, but I don’t think it’s an ‘old canard’ as much as it’s a universal truth. And unless the horse is Mr. Ed, he’s gonna have a hard time picking his opponents 😂.
My questions were genuine and meant to clarify. If all things are equal, do you think Flightline could have done more in his recorded races to prove his greatness? Or are you implying that he (or they) were ducking stronger horses and larger field sizes?
@DunderMiF13@equinepaparazzi@GhostofSwiftH How does Flightline beat weak competition in a way that would actually change your mind? Win by even more lengths? Run faster times? He doesn’t pick his opponents. Mike Tyson fought plenty of bums and still got beat by a couple. That doesn’t make him any less great.
Hey @LaurelCoveFest fam, I made a schedule that's easy to read.
Feel free to download / share with your buds. I'll post again on each day as a reminder.

It was special to be in Auburn on a summer night for a titan of this sport.
@JoshuaBBlack summed it up best - “I'm gonna be honest…few things warm my heart more than someone having an experience there for the first time and loving it because man, I really love it a lot.”
Seeing the joy of so many people from all over in our little corner of the world having an incredible time and taking it all in, mesmerized. Vibes were immaculate.
And this is probably the coolest thing about the US: You got big communities from every single country here.
After the USA-Germany game, I randomly met a guy with a HSV shirt (my club in Germany) and was handed these stickers. That‘s when I realized there is an active HSV supporters group in Chicago. Unreal 🇩🇪🤝🏼🇺🇸
