WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! 😱🤯

The blockbuster top-of-the-table clash between Adelaide United and Auckland FC certainly has lived up to the hype, ending in a 2-2 draw with TWO stoppage-time goals.

The match began with a very tight first half with neither side giving much away, before Auckland broke the deadlock through Neyder Moreno in the 66th minute.

The Reds then went onto the attack, with substitutes Yaya Dukuly and Archie Goodwin combining to find the equaliser in the 81st minute.

Adelaide kept pushing and deep in stoppage time Goodwin broke forward again to put another past Auckland keeper Alex Paulsen to give the Reds the lead.

But Auckland weren't finished there, the New Zealand side finding an equaliser at the death from a headed goal at a corner through Logan Rogerson.

With Unite Round 2.0 done and dusted, FPF photographer and contributor @BrockP01 gives his thoughts on the 2024/25 edition: 👇🗣️

"Unite Round was fantastic. I felt a real buzz around the stadiums meeting other fans from different teams. The APL really tried this year with the Fan Festival on Saturday afternoon.

By only using two stadiums, it made it really easy for fans to get to and from games. While I think it should continue, I don’t think Sydney is the right location.

The stadiums are too big. It should go somewhere like Adelaide (Coopers and Service FM), and I strongly believe that if it resumes, it should tour NZ (Wellington and Auckland)."
