As part of our remit by the National Ambulance Service (NAS) we respond to Cardiac/Respiratory Arrests, Choking, Chest Pains and Strokes. Since the pandemic happened this was pared back to Cardiac/Respiratory Arrests only.

If you phone 999/112 and need an AED, not only will the Emergency Services tell you where the nearest one is to you, they’ll also give you the code to open the box. There are 8 public AED’s in Triim. (The AED in Gillens/Landis/Circle K is behind the counter. )
