Sitting at the airport reflecting on the fall for @spectsbaseball…
A few things stood out about why this program is so special for our @mnicemen players — and for all the partner orgs in the system.
1️⃣ It represents what “connected baseball” really means.
Players who have competed against each other for years in the Midwest now come together on the same Spects rosters — building lifelong friendships and trust. In a world where so much of youth baseball has become transactional, this is something different.
2️⃣ The 2027 group that just won the WWBA Underclass Championship has had the same core since they were 13.
They’ve grown up together, learned together, failed together, and now win together. They play for each other — because they feel they owe that to one another.
3️⃣ I’ve gotten to know these families on a real level.
From helping with college guidance to talking through off-field challenges — these relationships are genuine. That’s what makes it worth it.
4️⃣ The Spects National brand has never been stronger.
Three national championships this fall — 2027 PBR Cup, 2028 PBR Cup, and 2027 WWBA Underclass — all earned by blue-collar Midwest kids proving they can play with anyone in the country. The north continues to be underrated, and it’s time that narrative changes.
Taking over as President, my goal was simple — get the train back on the tracks.
This fall, that’s exactly what we did.
I couldn’t ask for better partners who all share one goal: do what’s best for the players.
In a world full of transactions, come be part of something bigger.
Come be part of Spects National!!!

From day one we knew this group was special. Watching these young men compete, grow, and ultimately win the WWBA Underclass World Championship is something I’ll never forget.
To our players, your belief, effort, and trust in each other defined this run. To the families, your support made it possible. To my staff, your commitment and preparation set the tone.
This title belongs to everyone in this program. You showed what it means to play for each other, to compete with purpose, and to represent the Midwest with pride.
The Midwest standard is set. We’re coming for everyone else!!!

‘27 RHP Brody Simily (MO) opening up @ 85-88, picks up a couple Ks in the first. Good carry to heater, feel for mid-70s breaking ball. #WWBAWorlds@PG_Uncommitted@PGMidwestBB
Brody Simily (27 MO) working the bottom of the zone with the heater in the mid-80s. Mixed a low-70s curveball and has been on the attack. #WWBAWorlds@PG_Uncommitted
