Today, my wife & I joined Donald Trump’s hit list. He has directed his Department of Justice to investigate us. They have not found a crime - they are simply trying to find one.

He isn't coming after me because of mean tweets, but because I am considering running for President.

He hates that I consistently call him out. He is simply the most corrupt President in American history.

We have nothing to hide. 

Mr. President, come after me. I am not going anywhere.

The most recent California gubernatorial election to not feature a Republican on the General Election ballot was 1867*.

It's worth noting that there was an 1867 "Union Republican Party" nominee who received 2.3% of the vote as well as a "Union Party" nominee who received 43.7%.

He treated me with nothing but respect, and dignity. Worst thing about him: He’s a workaholic in a thankless role as State Superintendent.

Democratic candidate for California Governor Tony Thurmond gives Gavin Newsom a B- overall.

He likes his work on Trump, but-

Since Gavin Newsom took office 7 years ago after aiming for 3.5M new housing units by 2025, California has added just 828,930, putting the state on track to meet his housing goal in another 22 years or so.

(though the state also has 102,398 fewer residents now, so there's that)

Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.

People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate.

A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him.

Enough is enough.  It is time for ABC to take a stand.  How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.

It's unlikely journalists would be punished under California's AB 2624, but it does raise some free speech issues.
