Galatians 5:13-14 NIV
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh ; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Last time I took a Twitter break, some people got worried so I felt I should say something this time.
I am happier off the platform. I am not deleting my account. Might come back sometime in the future.
Thanks for your friendships and love of #Humanityfirst
God bless you!
@bethb38 When people find out that I am a pastor, sometimes they ask me something like, “So , are you allowed to swear anymore?”
I usually say something like, “Fuck no!”🤣
I don’t think it’s fair that I always get called immature when I laugh at the name of “Dick’s” sporting goods store.
I mean, if there was a “Pussy’s” fabric store, don’t tell me that I would be laughing alone. 🤣

My daughter came home for the weekend and told us she had written about nine Slam poems that she might use for an open mic night.
My wife wondered why she had so many enemies? Why she was so mad?
Apparently, my wife thought Slam poetry was about putting other people down. 🤣
It’s sad that so many complain that they just can’t see anything redeemable on the Right.
Does anyone ever consider that many Republicans feel the same about those on the Left?
Most people are kind imo and not caricatures of your worst imaginations.
@MileenaUltra I don’t know if it was a “policy”, but he mentioned that cattle were a big problem for climate change. To me, that’s a very simplistic stance. Restorative farming puts carbon back IN to the ground for example. I think the complaints about cattle and climate are a vegan argument.
Remembering the Lewinsky scandal reminds me that feminists of the 90’s were just as hypocritical around issues of sexual assault by Pres. Clinton as Evangelical Christians are around sexual assault by Pres. Trump.
I have been rereading The Hunger Games. How the Capitol turns the districts against each other rather against the system that enslaves them all. How the tributes fight against each other forgetting who the real enemy is.
Remind you of anything?

Do you remember during the Dem primaries when Andrew Yang would talk about the Flu epidemic of 1918 because life expectancy had last gone down way back then? We have now had more people die in America from Covid than Americans that died from the flu in 1918. 😢
I see tweets about how ONLY 516 children have died of Covid.
I hope these aren’t the same people who want Biden to resign because of the 13 military who died leaving Afghanistan.
And I will bet that none of those 516 were their children.
If we CAN protect a child, why not?
@jscolopy@tearoeprice I pray for an end to it. And I pray that our country would come together and be United against it. And I pray for those hospitalized and healthcare workers. I pray for businesses that people would support them. And I pray for peace, patience and trust through it all.
@jscolopy@tearoeprice I have never prayed about what God thinks of our country’s mask policy. I don’t have a say. I have prayed about whether my children should wear masks and it has varied situation to situation. Right now, they wear them in school because I have three under 12 and one is spec needs.
@jscolopy@tearoeprice I think there is a place between covering newborns with N-95’s and having Covid positive adults unmasked and unvaccinated where we should try to live.
My wife gave birth in a mask. Nurses wear them for 12 hour shifts. My kids wear them for eight hours with no complaints.
@jscolopy@tearoeprice I believe that we can both seek to protect children while simultaneously going on with life. I don’t think it has to be mutually exclusive. And I honestly have no idea what the Met Gala has to do with the topic of protecting kids.
