@ADnD_2e I'm sure someone may said this... But many artists live paycheck to paycheck, as you described. By choosing AI versus actual artists, and advocating for that to others, maybe you are pushing an artist closer to not being able to make ends meet. Being an artist is a real job.

@TimothyImholt I don't know that safety tools would have prevented this old man from being an ass hat, but maybe he would have thought, "these kids aren't going to be fun" and left before he said something shitty. IDK. I don't see how setting expectations is a bad thing. It doesn't bother me.

@TimothyImholt At the other end of things, I was at a con & had a 70+ year old man at my table who kept pushing the line on racial humor & sexual assault. He will never play at my table again. At that same con the next year, I had two friends come up to me frustrated about a player: same dude.
