Account nuked by Twitter cos I quoted Animal House & personal views, if they offend but are not illegal, gets an instant ban apparently.
@EditorPolitical
@RuairiAodh@TumbleweedChase@FUDdaily So today, I go to Lidl and something is stamped 'Not for EU'. Do you think that is what it takes to enforce the borders at Hull, Dover & Belcoo? Do you think EVERY product is checked? Enforcement is never really at the border and smuggling will always happen where prices differ.
@RuairiAodh@TumbleweedChase@FUDdaily At the end of the day UK law is very clear, what is illegal. It should be prosecuted heavily if broken. It is EU law that demands obeisance that would manifest checks, we are grown up democracies that can surely agree a free border with back end law enforcement not prohibition?
@RuairiAodh@TumbleweedChase@FUDdaily Normal customs apart from within the CTA, punitive laws on discovery of transgression. Do you believe there is NO white van illicit goods transfer today (or ever) between those 2? It has, does & will ever happen. Put very strong fines in place, sentences for non payment & repeats
@RuairiAodh@TumbleweedChase@FUDdaily You are still thinking Bonaparte, legislate & control by law. This led to 21 yrs of the EU defining what a cucumber was ๐คช No border infrastructure or inspection, laws, massive fines and prison for breaking them. Do nothing wrong, no worries. The wonders of Common Law.
@RuairiAodh@TumbleweedChase@FUDdaily You're just falling in to classic pro EU tropes very quickly. All I was highlighting was the issue with jurisprudence, defining legality or the opposite, defining criminality. The latter is far simpler and relies on Common law/Jurys, the former is highly complex & legally verbose
@RuairiAodh@TumbleweedChase@FUDdaily The problem you have here, and one of the biggest problems we had with the EU, on multiple issues, is Common Law v Roman/Bonaparte/EU law. We dont need infrastructure, strong laws, policed, harsh punishments. The pernicious creep of what youre allowed to do against policing crime

A self ordained prophet demanding praise.
Its almost like you are deliberatly not seeing the desert mysogynist for what he is. He made the rules (well he plagiarised them with added dirty old man) then said obey & honour the word and if you dont i'll cut yo head off.

@CamillaTominey@gordonrayner If they have broken the law it is a police matter.
If they have not what exactly is the issue? Where is the line? Who decides and is it up to their personal views and beliefs. Last I looked we still object to thought crimes.
@KingBobIIV Exactly this, people look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them John Smiths Labour, small c conservatives and Restore are far more alike when compared to any of the current LibLabCon
@CallumLyon When my Father bought their house he proudly told his Father. His response was:
Well how do you think you're going to afford that?
Interest rates had been around 7% then galloped along to 17 by the end of the 70s.
It wasnt as easy as you imply.
