Imagine blowing 30 years of search engine dominance—so much so that your website became a verb—only to kill your search engine in favor of a inferior product only tech bros and their sycophants like.
@jinji_boolin They don’t even have Toshiba’s best drives in them 😂 the rubber bumpers are cool for on-site usages but even those things don’t really help in the long run so you’d wanna transfer off them soon as you can.
@jinji_boolin Yeah, I'm down 2/3 for failed ruggeds (3rd one i'm just holding onto for vibes cos it's still thunderbolt 3) vs 1/20 for failed WD passports over the last 8-10 years. I think almost everyone I know that uses ruggeds has one that's failed.
No one talks about this, but the secret to creative excellence is having 8 projects with concurrent deadlines and overlapping meetings and being in a constant state of panic
@jinji_boolin If you can afford to, it's the move. When I was active, I funnelled everything I made back into gear/plugs, music/records, etc. Not the same but it saved me a ton in the long run
@jinji_boolin If I remember correctly, he said i love knx beats/flips but the mix/masters are terrible or something to that effect and knx wasn't having that.
@Elaquent same, I think I was like 10 or 11. you could just mess around in there & it'd make sounds. eventually you'd figure out the sequencer/piano roll. I remember switching to mac when there was no FL & having to learn reason 3.5 cos it's all i had access to lmao I was so mad. 🤣
@jinji_boolin@oluh_bool@Yolophonik Lo-fi just used to mean raw and unpolished music. It's all it will ever mean to me. I still don't know how to it ended up becoming the definitive sonic description 😂
@oluh_bool@jinji_boolin@Yolophonik Yeah Spotify been doing this since 2020 more or less and working w individuals who actively were working towards this sentiment if I understood it correctly. Fake artists on fake labels making generated "chill beats" with generated/template artworks.
