So, not only does x allow absolute lies to be posted on its platform, now even the one thing you can use quickly to check if the posts are true, is only available if you pay.
I wondered why it didn’t check for truthfulness before it allowed posting.

@elonmusk I think you should try to set up an AI gatekeeper to fact check obvious lies before they get posted.
So many untruths get pushed onto this platform, it’s becoming almost unusable.
The verify after option is good, but not enough. Need to nip these lie posters in the bud.

Someone , somewhere has to be the first, otherwise, soon, nobody will ever believe anything they see or hear.

Eg the Eiffel Tower has collapsed. Rather than causing worry, just stop it appearing.
If they’re not posted, people will stop trying. Keeping the platform more honest.

Free speech is one thing, but incitement to hatred by posting untruths is another. EG , this tweet abou khan was a lie, and could cause him issues.
