AMOC TIPPING POINT TRIGGER COULD BE CLOSE
Sudden Huge Expansion of North Atlantic Cold Blob
Recent research finds the cold blob is caused by the slowing AMOC. We could be triggering AMOC tipping point – of future collapse. Copernicus Pulse. #AMOC#climatechange#globalwarming
Science gasps for breath. They are removing all the ocean monitors to understand changes in currents and climate, and the excuse is a master class in obfuscation & double speak . (1/2) https://t.co/vs782YbcI3
🚨Your Sunday roast may be sprayed with a pesticide that causes cancer.
‘Those roast potatoes may have been sprayed with benthiavalicarb, a fungicide banned in the rest of Europe because it causes cancer. They may have also had a sprinkling of metribuzin, a herbicide, banned because its an endocrine disruptor.
The carrots may have been treated with the insecticide spirotetramat, whose EU approval has expired and can kill bees and fish. Peas are often treated with the herbicide S-metolachlor, which poses risks to mammals and has been implicated in groundwater contamination.
And those strawberries may have been doused with clofentezine, dimethomorph and mepanipyrim, all banned in the EU because they have been identified as endocrine disruptors and may have harmful effects on human and animal hormones.
Not only were crops sprayed with a range of pesticides, Greenpeace found, many were dosed over and over. “Our countryside is being drenched in pesticides, with devastating consequences for bees, birds, butterflies, rivers and the soil,” said Nina Schrank, a senior campaigner at Greenpeace UK.’
BBC News criticise Zack Polanski for expecting better standards from the police when apprehending the man who stabbed two British Jews and one British Muslim
But BBC News did NOT show that the officers kicked him in the head five times, when he was immobilised and down on the ground after being tasered
And of course BBC News did not mention that 2 hours before he stabbed two Jewish men, he stabbed a Muslim man
Neither did Keir Starmer, not once across the two days of constant press conferences, and not even during his statement from Downing street
Why is Labour Keir's Starmer and so much of the media whitewashing the stabbing of a British Muslim?
While everyone is glued to the Trump show, the real news is that in 2027 we are looking at a global average temperature of at least "1.7C, even if the "Super" El Nino turns out to be half-baked."
Remember when the world coming together to stop us going over 1.5C by 2030 was world headlines?
Avoiding the reality of catastrophic failure does not make it go away - it just makes it worse.
Recognising this is the most basic requirement of adult maturity, right?

***WARNING***
Thermal Saturation
Since 1971, about 89 % of the excess heat in Earth’s climate system has been stored in the ocean (with 6 % on land, 1 % in the atmosphere, and about 4 % going towards melting ice on land and sea).
If the ocean can no longer take up excess heat as it once did then land already at 6% will be tasked with the additional load. We should be very concerned as this is how desertification begins.

Rotherham, England replaced 8 miles of mowed grass with wildflowers.
They saved £25,000 in mowing costs a year and bees, butterflies, and birds showed up almost immediately.
You don’t need to wait for your city to act. Start small in your own patch:
🏡 Let your front verge or sidewalk strip go wild this spring
🌻 Toss a few native wildflower seed balls into neglected spots
🌱 Stop mowing one strip and see what shows up
📧 Contact your city government. One email from one person has started initiatives like this before
One person. One small patch. Real habitat.
Your street could be next.
The CEC is not a representative body.
In Your Party, members don't act through representatives - we have a direct vote (OMOV).
This difference is fundamental, and it's why this isn't “Labour 2.0”.
Miss that - and everything else gets misunderstood.

University of Oxford : maximising oil and gas extraction here would only save UK households up to £82 (€95) per year. A UK fully powered by renewable energy, would save households up to £441 (€510) a year on energy bills.

If the liberal elite won’t take the risks their own warnings demand, the world will remain asleep — and the task of awakening it falls to the small minority willing to act.

More indices are coming in and again all these advises are too late, prepare for impact!
Laurie Laybourn, executive director of the think tank Strategic Climate Risks Initiative, said the report was not a “prediction that collapse is inevitable” but a “warning that on the current trajectory, under current policies, collapse becomes a real possibility”. He added: “There’s a huge amount that can be done to minimise that possibility, such as moving away more quickly from fossil fuels and growing more food locally.”

The 1.5C dangerous climate breakdown limit is about to be shattered, as will the 2C threshold as soon as the late 2030s or even earlier
Yet idiots like this want us to increase the amount of carbon we are adding to the atmosphere
Pure insanity

I've always found this incredible useful. An easy guide to exactly how much sh*t your local water company is in.
Southern Water customer, 27% of your bill it doing nothing but paying interest on their stinking pile of debt.
Thames Water, 28%, Anglian Water, 24% and on, and on, and on..........

The UK is running out of drinking water.
Yes, really.
The UK is one of the wettest countries in Europe. Yet by 2055, England could face a 5 billion litre daily water shortfall without urgent action.
So how did we get here?
We have spent decades over-abstracting our rivers, draining wetlands, and failing to build new reservoirs. At the same time, temperatures are rising, droughts are becoming more frequent, and demand for water continues to grow.
When it does rain, our landscapes no longer hold water as they should. Hardened cities, deforested hills, and degraded soils send water rushing into the sea - often causing floods along the way.
But there is hope.
With the right leadership and investment, this crisis is solvable. We can fix leaking pipes, restore wetlands, reduce abstraction, reuse water, and work with nature to store it in the landscape.
What we need now is urgent action.
It is time to declare a national freshwater emergency and deliver a funded plan to secure our water future.
Because if we don’t act now, Britain will run dry.

We Now Have Early Warning Signal Of Ocean Current (AMOC) Collapse
One of the most vital systems of ocean currents - needed to keep life in northern Europe stable - is at risk of collapse. And now we can predict when it’s going to happen.

"More than half a million tonnes of sewage sludge spread on Scotland's fields."
Sewage sludge can contain, amongst other things, forever chemicals (PFAS), dioxins, and microplastics. That's why the Dutch burn it, not spread it on fields and allow all that stuff it back into the food chain. In Scotland however?
https://t.co/hTRMzSJIdm
@Feargal_Sharkey This report redacted by the Gov shows the extent of PFAS for ever chemicals across the UK and how it has got into the drink water.. why did they not release this I don't know. This was a FOI request.
