Private G.H. Obee served with the 4th Batt. Seaforth Highlanders during #WW1.

He died in action on 11th May 1917, and is commemorated at Beckenham Crematorium.

He died in action on 30th June 1916, aged 35. He is commemorated at Beckenham Crematorium.

Lance Corporal Charles Edward Kennard signed up on his 18 birthday. He had served with the Army of Occupation in Germany and had been home on leave, but died when he was taken ill at the Ripon Camp - he was only 19. https://t.co/AXRmJCTmz1

Flight Sergeant Jack Townley Dunmore, served with the Royal Air Force during WW2.

He died in action on 17th May 1941 and is commemorated at the Annunciation Church in #Chislehurst https://t.co/tMZ4iEpcfi

Frederick Charles Salmon died in an aeroplane accident at Ford when he was serving with the Royal Air Force during #WW1.

He is buried at Beckenham Crematorium.

Leading-Stoker Charles William Venters, of #Bromley (Kent) served on HMS Queen Mary when it took part in the Battle of Heligoland in 1914 & the Battle of Jutland in1916.
