Alexander recently had surgery for a rare heart condition.❤️ His mum Dominika said…’ I would like thank all of the doctors and nurses at Royal Brompton hospital for helping our little one get better. We can’t wait to see what he’s going to be like once we get home’. ❤️💙 #NHS

Today is my annual donation day for the @BromptonSupport to help them carry on helping others like they helped us when our daughter was in hospital. The amount will be based on how many runs and wickets the mighty @NorthMymmsCC manage to get today, plus bonus cash for wins!

Last month we set up our own board game café in the reception area at Royal Brompton Hospital for staff, patients and families to enjoy. We hope activities such as these, as well as the new picnic bench in the courtyard, help create a comfortable area for everyone to unwind. ❤️💙

After being born prematurely at 33 weeks, weighing only 2lbs, Lily-Mai was diagnosed with a complex congenital heart condition and subsequently transferred to Royal Brompton Hospital for life saving surgery. This week she celebrated a special milestone - her 10th birthday! ❤️💙

Megan (15) had her cardiac review with Dr Rigby (our chair) yesterday. She had open heart surgery @RBandH when she was four months old. Dr Rigby also looked after Megan’s mum Carly when she was young and now he treats Megan who has been under his care since she was a baby. ❤️💙

We’ve added a new picnic bench to the courtyard at Royal Brompton Hospital for patients, families and staff to relax. It’s especially important for patients who are unable to leave the hospital for medical reasons, allowing them to experience fresh air with their loved ones. ❤️💙

Lucy Kent graduated from medical school yesterday after being inspired by her cardiologist Dr Michael Rigby and surgeon Mr Olivier Ghez who treated Lucy at Royal Brompton Hospital after she was diagnosed with a heart condition at eight years old. She is now officially Dr Kent! 💙

Our heartfelt thanks to one of our amazing volunteers Alannah who was on the children’s ward and paediatric intensive care unit at #RoyalBromptonHospital yesterday making sure everyone was hydrated in the hot weather and treating staff and families to some lovely biscuits. ❤️💙

We were delighted to be invited to the re-opening of the Braintree branch of TGI Fridays ❤️ Mitch (the restaurant GM) welcomed our Head of Fundraising Farid who had the honour of cutting the ribbon on the 4th of July. Thank you to TGI’s for including us in their special day ❤️💙

The iconic London black cab has a new role, taking patients to hospital appointments.

These hybrid vehicles, by LEVC, are part of our non-emergency patient transport. They're sustainable, wheelchair accessible and have covered 60,000 miles with 13,000 patients so far.

We are very proud of Rosie (5) who did a sponsored walk in June for our charity. She walked 66 miles and raised £100! Rosie wanted to do something to give back to @RBandH for saving her little sister who has a rare heart condition. Thank you for your fantastic fundraising! ❤️💙

Olivia, 16, wore her scars with pride at her school Prom. Her mum Suzanne said…’We are always proud of Liv but times like this never more so.. (After heart surgery @RBandH) .. She has grown into such a beautiful young lady. Still small but fierce! We love you Liv so much.’ ❤️💙

The incredible Respiratory Medicine team @RBandH arranged and funded a visit here for nine Ukrainian #CysticFibrosis doctors and Allied Health Professionals. We were proud to support their visit by providing meal vouchers, tote bags and lanyards for all the staff attending. 💙💛
