having a chat with @daisypunc18 discussing our digital footprints and what we found when researched them. nothing negative came around from exploring our digital footprints, but we need to remember what can be posted about us can always be used against us
most studies show that smoking is a huge cause of most cancers- a nurses role is to try and make patients health better, stopping smoking can be a huge factor in this, meaning health and well-being can be improved https://t.co/GSTwnyPt1f
this blog is an inspiration to nurses. this is just one example of how personal experiences can stick with nurses for life and these are the things that can get nurses through the hard days of work #punc18 https://t.co/5q4Nemb7ej
Camacho, M. Minelli, J. & Grosseck, G. (2012) Self and identity: raising undergraduate students’ awareness on their digital footprints.- many students are aware of social media privacy and believe they are untouchable- this affects potential employers judgement on them #PUNC18
Think before you post! Self awareness is important especially when posting on social media spaces. Many people post things without knowing what privacy setting their space is on, even with privacy settings on, posts can always be found. think before you post #punc18
to me being a professional means being able to keep the patients care in mind at all times, and no matter what other stresses someone has the patients care is not effected #PUNC18
When posting on social media, I will always be conscious on what impact my post will have on individuals, and always makes sure I am not breaching any patients privacy @PUNC18
Worried about drug calculations #punc18? There is a free downloadable e-book called 'Drug Calculations for Nurses' on Primo. Youll also get free workbooks and practice questions in each year of clinical skills. Save your pennies! @PUNC14
