@byesline Russell Wilson fumble in Wash territory up 21-3 with less then 7 min left in 1st half. Cost them the game. Any points for Broncos there may have probably put game away.
@drvanslyke@DeanOfMed Doesn’t matter if he had control. It is when the puck is touched in the offensive zone and when he touched it both players were in neutral zone. Control does not matter for this touch up offside. It becomes a delayed offside as soon as puck crosses blue into offensive zone
@drvanslyke @LeafsNWO @DeanOfMed The first time the puck was touched in the offensive zone both players were in the neutral zone so we have a good goal.
@gwalker71 On a delayed offside it has nothing to do with “possession”. It is when the puck is touched in the offensive zone. When Makar first touched the puck in the offensive zone #13 had cleared the zone and Makar was out of the zone and therefore no offside and a good goal.
@Damion77889409@FriedgeHNIC@NHL No there not going to have to look at 6” or a mm. Nothing changes. If teammate is ahead of puck it is offside. Doesn’t matter how player is carrying it in to zone.
@Damion77889409@FriedgeHNIC@NHL It’s not about possession on a delayed offside. You have to physically touch the puck to make it offside, which he doesn’t do until 13 is clear. They got the call correct.
@brennan47343400 @FriedgeHNIC “Attempts to gain possession”when the other team has possession when it is a delayed offside. Good goal as control doesn’t matter in this case. Puck was touched outside the zone and player clears while Makar is still in neutral zone. Next time he touches puck he inside the zone
