@owenmccormack5 I watched Adams for 15 year i know who he is.. You don't know or have seen most of them is the problem.. Conversation is simple Van Dijk is a fraud.. Hype train.. Desailly Carvalho probably definitely ahead there's way more..
🚨🗣️ Thierry Henry on Virgil van Dijk’s display in the clash between Liverpool and Manchester City.
“People are going to get emotional about this, but I don’t care, Virgil van Dijk is living off a reputation he built years ago. Tonight exposed it. When Manchester City turned up the intensity, he didn’t look like a leader… he looked like a liability.
We keep hearing ‘world-class, world-class’ based on what? Aura? Because I didn’t see dominance, I saw hesitation. I saw a defender who doesn’t want to get exposed 1v1 anymore. The real top defenders embrace those moments, they don’t hide behind the system.
And let’s be honest, if his name wasn’t Van Dijk, we’d be having a very different conversation right now. At Liverpool FC, that standard should be ruthless. But somehow, he keeps getting protected while others get blamed.
For me? That performance wasn’t elite. It wasn’t even good. It was average… and average doesn’t win you big games.”

The United Stand - Playing for a club like Manchester United brings its pressures and expectations. How do you deal with pressure, and what advice would you give young players aspiring to reach the highest levels of the sport?
🗣 Antony: "Pressure has always been with us for those who play in big clubs, especially regarding United. My life has always been very challenging, and I have had to go through many situations that many cannot imagine. I grew up in a hostile place, where eating, having a good house, having the internet, and access to a good education were a privilege; I would say that for us on the "favelas," all of these were a luxury few people could have. This was a period in which I learned to deal with pressure and challenges. The pressure of life!"
"Today, I see criticism coming from former club players and other people in the media, who unreasonably express their opinions and influence thousands of fans, sometimes even when I do not play. But I've never seen them give constructive criticism, which will help me be a better professional. None of them have ever sent me a message to see how I am feeling, especially during this period of turbulence that I am going through. The "digital court" is ruining lives; contexts are left aside, and the truth no longer matters."
"I am silently rebuilding myself, and I know that I will be able to be in my best physical and mental shape and overcome all these barriers and challenges that are in front of me because it has always been like this in my life; no one has ever given me anything, I have always fought hard for everything I achieved! I would like to know how these people who make these unfair and malicious criticisms fared in my place."
"I'm 23 years old, and my life has changed radically in the last four years. It wasn't easy to assimilate and understand all those changes. My daily battle is getting back in my best shape and performing at the highest level on the field, regaining my integrity, and having peace of mind! I advise those young players to take care of their mental side and work hard; then, things will happen naturally." #mufc
Sir Alex Ferguson on Roy Keane vs Juventus
"Pounding every blade of grass, competing as if he would rather die of exhaustion then lose, he inspired all around him, I felt as if its an honor to be associated with this player."
Roy Keane: "Stuff like that, kind of almost insults me, what am I supposed to do? Give up? Not cover every blade of grass? No do my best for my teammates? No do my best for my club?
They just don't make em like Keano anymore.
The way things ended between him and Sir Alex still hurts. I wish they both could find a way to let go but knowing them both don't think its happening.
