The only people underestimating Africa are Africans - because we have no fucking clue what we are sitting on. People from around the world don't stampede in such numbers into a continent that they "underestimate."
-David Hundeyin
South Africans, at what point do we admit that we have normalised failure?
How do we accept a system where citizens can lose up to 41% of their salaries to tax, yet corruption continues to thrive, rural roads remain undrivable, municipalities collapse, and local councillors operate with little to no accountability?
Taxation without visible service delivery is not governance; it is betrayal.
This country does not lack money. It lacks ethical leadership, consequence management, and political will. We cannot keep comparing ourselves to countries like Qatar and pretending the difference is luck. The difference is leadership, planning, discipline and accountability.
South Africa deserves a government that respects every rand taken from its people. The amount of tax we are paying is just insane😭💔
The most effective prison has no walls. It lives in the mind that was taught to say I instead of We. Black families were once rooted in collective survival, until a system rewired that instinct into rivalry. Now we race each other to finish lines that were never meant for us to cross alone.🫶🏽
African problems need African solutions. may we not to be completely shaped by external influence esp. from the West.
They'll never fully understand our lived realities & experiences no matter how many years they spent on the continent introducing their beliefs, methods, education systems and teachings.
Let’s unchain our minds and think independently. Let’s embrace our Africanism by reconnecting with our roots and valuing the wisdom, culture and identity that define us as people. 🍃💚

Ofcourse South Africans must prepare for the worst because they aren't listening. When you are given a cosmic task on behalf of AmaThongo, you do it, finish and klaar. But rather, as a collective, you are latching on to a system that is the source of your wounds.
Our grandparents survived on the food they planted with their own hands. Today we eat what factories design, then wonder why sickness is growing faster than crops. When people stop planting, they become dependent on systems that do not care about their health. A nation that cannot grow its own food slowly loses its strength, freedom, and future. Returning to indigenous African foods is not backward, it is survival.🌾🍲🍃🫶🏽
Strangers can appreciate your greatness more easily because they encounter you without memory. Familiar people carry old versions of you in their mind like permanent ghosts. Until they release those ghosts, they will struggle to fully honor the person standing before them now. This is why growth sometimes requires distance. Not because you hate people, but because constant exposure to old perceptions can suffocate new evolution.🍃🫶🏽
The African continent is at a crucial, non negotiable juncture to pivot from being a spectator economy that waits for investors, to truly knowing how to refine each and every aspect of their resources.
Soft resources such as cultural markers and hard resources like minerals.
Everything in your home, every conversation, every footstep, every emotion, leaves an energetic imprint. That energy lives in the dust. It lives in the ground. And at night it needs to rest.
The earth rests at night. Frequencies settle. The invisible world, and it is there whether you believe in it or not, becomes active, alert and sensitive after dark. It picks up on disturbance. It responds to signals.
Sweeping at night is a disturbance. The scattered dust is the signal. And the spiritual world receives it. But here is what most people never connect: that nightly habit is not staying in the spiritual world. It is showing up in your life. As bad luck that has no obvious source.
As good fortune that always seems one step out of reach, the deal that falls through, the healing that stalls, the blessing that keeps getting delayed for no clear reason. As sickness that settles into a home and will not leave. Into bodies that feel heavy and depleted without explanation. You are literally sweeping away your own prosperity. Your own health. Your own protection.
This is how homes become cursed, not through dramatic events but through one repeated unconscious act, night after night, disturbing what should rest, broadcasting what should be silent, inviting in what should never have been able to find you.
Let the ground rest. Let the dust settle. Let your home hold its energy through the night. In the morning, sweep. Release with intention, in the light, when the ground is ready and the frequencies are clear. Your home is a living field. What you do to it, it does back to you.
So the PAP smear brushes that are used to sweep the cervix to check for cancer are coated in a cancer causing chemical called ethylene oxide.
It almost seems like they want you to get cancer.
We are overstimulated and we don't even notice. Netflix while eating. Reels in the bathroom. Music while cooking. Podcasts on walks. We consume by default, not by intention. You keep filling every gap, then wonder why you feel foggy and unmotivated. Boredom and silence are the real growth drivers. They give you space to think and create. That's when solutions show up for problems that have been stuck for months. Leave some room.
Fire only burns those who cannot wield it. Otherwise, it refines, purifies and clears the path ahead. Be willing to be refined by the fire of your life.
Every nation was given its garden, each soil knowing the cure for its own people. When we turned away from our native seeds, we invited sickness to sit at our table. Let us return to the meals of memory the bitter herbs that cleanse, the fruits that glisten with morning light...
