Friday, June 9 will be a remote-instruction day for the students who were scheduled to be at our schools.
Additionally, it will be another remote-work day for staff—including school-based, district, and central staff.
Incoming 6th & 9th grade students and families- our orientations for new students are this week! Incoming 6th grade students and families are invited at September 1st at 10:00 am and incoming 9th grade at 12:00 pm! All orientations will take place in the second floor auditorium.
Starting in summer 2021 our incredible art teacher Mr. Riveaux started on his mural in our school yard. He completed this project in June 2022 with the help of some Bronx Latin students and we wanted to share some of his work! 🎨🐋🐢☀️🌍🪐🎠🍦🖼👨🎨
@RitchieTorres@AOC In order to achieve citizenship immigrants go under an unfair process which makes it hard for them to earn said status. The way citizenship is given to immigrants should be changed in order to create a system based around equal opportunity.

Receiving many reports of vaccinated educators either testing positive or not being able to get tested due to long lines. NYC should have never stopped offering tests for staff at schools. Situation Room is overwhelmed w/cases & school leaders growingly concerned about staffing.
