Dear Doge community:

As Kabosu's 18th birthday and her statue unveiling ceremony draw near, there's been a lot of excitement within the community and some confusion about whether (unnamed) tokens and projects have been involved in this effort, some seemingly attempting to profit from their purported association.

To be clear, the statue was funded by generous donations from many independent members of the global Doge community and the campaign was organized by Own The Doge, The Dogecoin Foundation, Rainbow, Feisty Doge and Doge Pound.

It's time for another update on the Doge statue.

Our decentralised team of Kabosu fans has been working hard to make sure we can unveil a bronze icon on the 2nd of November, this year!

Our next milestone is August 27th when we will be shown the full-size Kabosu statue in clay.

Also the cats :)

Atsuko will visit in person and we will have a representative Zoom in.

If everyone approves the clay models, then the bronze pouring will begin!
