@smileitsjoy Maybe this is too dark, but after my defense I very legitimately considered killing myself. Only my husband and son stopped me. Much better on the other side though!
@MentalWoke I appreciate your take. My husband and I can't biologically have more kids and I've been open to adopting any race but that kid's culture is SO IMPORTANT. I feel like my husband and I can't give that and that's been a struggle for us.

I've had a rough go of it lately (like most of us) and really questioning the work I'm doing. Then I walk in to work with notes like this. Makes everything worth it.
