@KimberlyHenckel @MrHistory9 Hi everyone!🍎Elementary teacher here from Illinois. Any donations on my @amazon wishlist would be a game-changer for my students! I can't wait to see their faces in August ready to tackle their 4th grade year! #CleartheList#CleartheLists#AdoptaTeacher

@angelica_wilk I absolutely love this model mash-up visual! I need more of these in my life. I feel like all of the different models for effective technology use in education are helpful, but can be challenging to try to remember and apply all of them similtaneously. #edtech#edtechchat#tch432
According to the 'Three Technology Tools to Engage Students with the 5 Cs of Education' article, Google Classroom, Google Jamboard, and Google Expeditions are a few examples to engage technology experiences. What is your go-to?

@MunchureeK This makes me think of the Smart Tech Use for Equity article that we annotated for the Software Analysis Challenge. While reading I'd wished there was more updated information since being published in 2016. I'm definitely going to give this a read! #tch432

@TeacherBee5 Hello! Thanks for your response. That is great! Would you be willing to provide any examples of the digital citizenship programs or any appropriate apps discussed for Ss out there? 😊
Elementary school teachers:
Is there an educational technology group or committee at your school? If so, what are some of the topics you discuss and how is useful information shared with the whole staff? #tch432#edtech#edtechchat#elemchat
@_abigailpettit I have used a Google Voice number as an option during remote Parent-Teacher Conferences. For regular communication with parents, I have used email, Remind 101, and Class Dojo throughout the school year! Some of my colleagues have created Instagram accounts and Facebook groups.
According to Matthew Lynch, here are "8 Virtual Resources that Help Teach Mathematics":
1. VmathLive
2. Desmos
3. EquatIO
4. Kahoot!
5. Online Games
6. SMART Board Activities/Games
7. Sumdog
8. YouTube Videos
Which of have you used?

In the article "Effective Technology Use in Math Class", Gina Picha goes into detail about how educators should have a content-specific pedagogy. One method to determine effectiveness is by using the TPACK model. #mathchat#elemchat#tch432@edutopia

@ScottPyle9 I agree that computer science should be offered earlier in students' educational careers, especially with how much technology plays a role in our students' lives. Since CS is not an option at my elementary school, one way that I encourage digital citizenship is Interland! #tch432
@AshleyBHinkle@TED_ED Many of the videos are appropriate for intermediate grade levels or middle school, in my opinion! I teach 4th grade and have used TEDEd as supplemental material or as an option for comprehension or written responses!
