What a run for the Troy Trojans.
From the last four in, all the way to the College World Series where they won a game and eliminated an opponent.
On May 2nd they were 22-25 and had a slim hope of even making it into the NCAA tournament at all.
The Trojans got in and showed why they deserved that spot.
They eliminated Miami.
They eliminated Florida.
They eliminated Little Rock.
They eliminated Ole Miss.
Things they achieved this year:
• First Super Regional in program history
• Hosted an NCAA tournament game for the first time in program history
• First CWS appearance in program history
• First CWS victory in program history
• Won 5 straight elimination games up until today
They helped make this tournament a ton of fun. 🫡
West Virginia beats Troy to eliminate them from College Baseball World Series. In game former Linton star Josh Pyne collected a hit to finish his college career with 302 hits. He leaves the collegiate game as the only active D1 player with 300 or more hits. #HECKOFACAREER
COLUMN: @TroyTrojansBSB's trademark resilience is directly related to its easygoing goofiness and its coachability. These Trojans are "weirdos" and they are winners, and they notched the first CWS victory in program history Sunday vs. Ole Miss:

Alyssa Lang asking an important question: “Why are you in danger of being locked in the bathroom?”
“I was in the bathroom twice today and I just hear the crowd blow up…I think they’re going to make me sit back there for the rest of the games.” — Josh Pyne
Whatever it takes. 🤷🏻♂️😂
Thank you to @AthletesThread for launching their very own officially licensed @TroyTrojansBSB x @NCAABaseball@CWSOmaha NIL merchandise collection.
Nothing better than elevating the brands of our student-athletes on top of the Troy brand!
