Unusual defect today ... a modern roof with trussed rafters and the collar tie (the bottom of the triangle ) has snapped in half - rendered the truss useless.

It was the 452nd Alms House Trustees Service this morning for Sir Edmund Wright - the founder of the Nantwich Alms Houses - St Marys Church looked stunning. So proud to be part of such a wonderful foundation.

We surveyed a 1980s bungalow today, occupied by Tenants. We were shocked. We can't recall ever seeing such a high level of relative humidity in a home - walls and ceilings were running with water and covered in toxic mould - house is unfit habitation due to health risks.
