@winxformers They did agh. Henna literally said to Mariposa that she would force people to love her if she stuck with her, and this was said during a point when Henna thought she’d won. She had no reason to manipulate her. I think Mariposa turning her down really didn’t sit well with her 😬

I know it’s trivial lol, but I saw that you and Hilary Bader wrote Gotham Girls (according to IMDb). I personally think it was just a sign of the times but still an effort to be inclusive like the DCAU always did, but I still feel I should ask just in case. (❤️ Gotham Girls btw)

@Paul_Dini I rewatched the 2000 webseries Gotham Girls, remembering its inclusivity of a trans character, Selma Reesedale. But rewatching it, I realized Batgirl reacted by saying “She is a he”. My question is, was Selma’s inclusion meant to be progressive or transphobic?

Some people pointed out that the fact Selma disappeared with the men is the series’ way of saying that in the eyes of science, trans women are men, as the machine presumably detected high levels of testosterone in Selma (even though it looked like she had been taking estrogen).
